The theme is to never give up no matter what you put your mind to. Positive - Lin and her friends saved the town from being attacked and crushed by evil. Negative- There were lots of dark obstacles in their way, also it led to lots of catastrophes on their journey. Who I think should read this book are people who like action and adventure.
